Over ten years ago, I found these rare movies in the archives of the US Library of Congress. I was the first local teacher to have found them and make them available on my website.I've now noticed other local dancers are placing them on their websites now. It's great to see this. These movies are a great teaching resource and precious historical glimpse of when 'bellydance' came to North America.
