Fundamentals of Turkish Bellydance Workshop

Students will learn the fundamentals of Turkish floorwork, travelling steps, layered shimmies and isolations, complex combination's, rhythm identification and finger cymbal mastery. Basic characteristics of Turkish Oriental and Roma dance. A set of finger cymbals (zills) are required for this class.

The show aims to be fun and full of energy with back-to-back performances by Joanna, Sam’s Falling, CJ Ostrom, Juanita, Prashant, Yanni, Crystal, Annie and Lisa.

Joanna will be performing songs from her first 2 CDs: “All That’s Missing”, “JR2”as well as brand new songs from her new CD and an all dance Greek set with special guest Juanita and her Troupe Medina
